I will dominate 'legitimate combatant' Paul - Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout fight which will be shown live on Netflix.

Briton Joshua declared he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to promote next month's bout.

Ex two time world boxing king Joshua meets social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive mismatch - at Miami's arena on 19 December.

Fighter's Attitude

"I plan to damage his features and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.

"I will dominate him completely. That's a fighter's mentality.

"I will really want to injure him. That's what I want to do."

Civil Interaction

In spite of these statements, a relaxed Joshua and social media star Paul - normally recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.

Targeting Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a victory for Paul.

"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," the boxer stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Legitimate Fighter

In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he remarked.

Paul's Background

Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the television network - has primarily boxed mixed martial artists or faded names since becoming pro.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Commercial Attraction

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's greatest money-making draws, regularly earning substantial paydays.

Forecast and Belief

The 28 year old predicted a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would derail the much-anticipated Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.

"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Difference

As both boxers engaged in the customary confrontation, with their height and weight contrast on show, it emphasized just how improbable this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is truly happening.
